Collin CAD appraisers have completed their inspections of properties damaged by the tornados. By law, our annual appraisal is based on the value of property as of January 1^st. Any repairs or reconstruction after the January 1, 2016 appraisal date will not be included in our appraisals until 2017.

We will mail every property owner in Collin County a Notice of Appraised Value around May 1^st. Please review the 2016 appraisal information in that notice to verify that we properly recognized losses in value caused by storm damages
